| Bio | 22 – Helen Young – Another in a long line of offensive players, Helen Young comes to Michigan State after a great career at Grand Rapids Christian High School. The daughter of a coach, Young played attack in high school and was converted, temporarily in the fall, to midfield, but moved back to attack at the end of fall ball. The talented freshman has great stick skills and passing abilities and should play an important part of the Spartans resurgence. “Helen is a highly skilled lacrosse player and one that we will utilize in specific situations because she has an ability to read the field. She’s a solid player that will help us this spring and into the next three years,” said Greg Normand, Michigan State’s head coach. |
